Life is Good :)

I've been realizing again in the last couple weeks that life is GOOD. :)
Its summer time, my family is all alive and well. NBCC is going good. Gonna see Gabes in a "couple few" weeks and go camping. I made a new friend at drivers ed. The piano recital is over and I can stop having nightmares about it, it was silly having nightmares about it, the piano was so out of tune even I could not tell when I was making a mistake, let alone the old people! I've got plenty to do this summer: a tea party to plan, a camping trip to go on. Drivers ed to finish up and a permit to get. Cleaning jobs to do. A trip to Colorado. And just in general "people to talk to and places to go"! Also it is really, really nice to have Charity back from Colorado for a month or so here. I rode down to Kara's graduation with the Troyers yesterday. We did some shopping in Rice Lake including shoes for Charity and I, we were walking out to the front to meet up with the others and Tim caught sight of Charity's dress shoes for Melinda's wedding, "You're going to play volleyball in those!!!" :) We assured him that she wasn't! :)
Had a really really good time down there. Kara did not even look scared when she talked... No fare! It was really good to see all those peoples again.
We headed back to Troyer's place at 10:15 or so. After nearly hitting a raccoon and seeing if we could "coast all the way to the stop sign" we got back at midnight or so, Charity and I stayed up talking till around three. And slept till 11:00, its been a long time since I slept that late, but I guess its been a long time since I talked that late too.
And now I need to get back to work, I've got a lawn to mow, a room to clean and the "office" to clean. TTFN!!!!!!!! -Frank

A month ago when Mom signed me up for drivers ed. I had a gut feeling that it was not a good idea, now I know why... I'm beginning to get a very large dislike for my gut feelings, they almost always are right, and they are always negative! I found out today that I will not be getting my "temp", or "permit" next week as I was hoping to. Mr. Olin wont sign my DMV form till I'm "paid in full ", which means that I still have to give them a large amount of money. And that means that part of my cleaning money for the next two months goes to that... that is not quite what I had in mind! :P
What I would like to know is why we home schoolers have to pay twice as much as the kids who are enroled in HHS when we do pay our school taxes.
So today is one of those days that I am having a hard time "rejoicing" and "being glad" in!
Also tonight is the piano recital and I've already got a large amount of butterflies in my stomach.
Sooo, that's my moan for that day!!!!
Have a great weekend! -Frank

Little Bit

K, I only have time for a little tiny post so I shall do the point by point thing again, sorry folks.
* Last Friday when we were headed out from camping I called Gladys to tell her that I was going to be a little late and she reminded me, a little late, that I was supposed to clean on Thursday, so we decided that
I would clean on Saturday afternoon.
*Saturday was one of those days that you work ALL day long, from ten till nine thirty to be exact.
Mom went to pick up Val for Susan and Herbs surprise birthday party and did not get home till ten, and she found us all down stairs watching a movie, we got the brainy idea to go watch a movie at nine thirty. Why do Grabers do the things they do?
* Sunday morning was lovely, Val went to church with us and Susan was VERY surprised :) :) :)
Marv preached on Having the Mind of Christ and afterwords Lance and Noah headed over to the gym to make sure it was open for our "volley ball game".
*The gym was not open so we all scrambled around at the pavilion across from our place and people started showing up, it was interesting seeing all the different people from all the different back grounds.
*Herb said he knew that something was up but did not have any idea how many people would be there and Susan was very surprised :)
* Monday I started Drivers Ed. and other than getting there late because we could not find the class room, and we thought that it started later than it really did, it went really well. Its really interesting looking at all the different people in that class, the girl who asked questions like crazy, they guy who drones out the answers to her question from the back row in a bored tone and is always stretching like he just woke up, the girl who dyed her hair black underneath and blond on top... That looks weird btw, don't try it!... The guy who looks like he can't be a whole lot older than Brad... And the girl who actually talks to those weird girls who always come late (Eileen and I).
*NBCC went really good last night, there were only five kids though, about half of what we had been having. You can all be praying that they all keep coming this summer. We usually have hardly any children during the summer. You can also be praying that we would have the wisdom to answer the questions that they are begining to ask. Last night the question was "who made God?", some of the others are, "does everybody have a guardian angel?", and, "how could Noah live to be that old?".
I don't think we ever did convince them that Noah really did live to be "that" , old! :)
*Anyways its time for me to get going. Have a great rest of the week! :)

Camping

You should have seen all the ticks....

I think we three youngest were all guilty of violating this sign.

Mom cut out three dresses.

The trailer was a little crowded... Just kidding, Mom wanted a picture.

Guess what this is.

That's MY sister! :)

... Amy has informed me that SHE took this picture :)...

I was busy doing the dishes and Amy and Brad found a big hole on the edge of one of the fields.
We headed out last night at five or so and it was VERY dusting, by this morning it was VERY, VERY muddy.

When you dont understand...

"Trust His Heart"
All things work for our good
Though sometimes we don't see how they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just don't see Him
Remember you're never alone

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart
Trust His heart

He sees the master plan
And He holds our future in His hand
So don't live as those who have no hope
All our hope is found in Him
We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and the last
And like a tapestry
He's weaving you and me
To someday be just like Him

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart
Trust His heart

He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart
Trust His heart

When you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart
Trust His heart
